- 7/8" and 1 1/4" blades of carbon steel, 3 1/2" closed length
- Mother of pearl scales with fancy filed nickel silver liners
- Engraved nickel silver cutting mechanism with engraving and the monogram "W.T. from W.A.L.T."
- Carbon steel back springs
- Dates to the mid-1800's, good condition (the smaller of the 2 quill blades is missing about 3/8" at the tip, there is light staining and pitting on the steel parts, and the nickel silver fittings are scratched)
- This quill cutter is different from most in that it has a small cover which conceals the end of the cutting mechanism and opens when the cutter itself is opened.
